My long awaited holiday is finally here!.. but now it is over.. but i had a good time in Phuket..
I hate it when holidays end.. but oh well.. all good things will come to an end..

Day 1 - 15 Aug 2009

We left on 15 Aug on the 1320 flight.. poor baby worked till morning and did not get any sleep..

on Silkair.. about 90% of the passengers were ang mohs..
and Cynthia Koh was on the same flight as us!

Right after we landed, the first thing i did was to bomb in the Phuket toilet.. hehe..
Then we queued for an hour to get our passports chopped.. they were damn slow..
we were the last passengers from our flight..

On the way to the resort.. baby looks damn tired

yup.. he is tired... he fell asleep along the way..

after an hour car ride, we finally reached our resort!!

we took a walk in the nerghbourhood and it is quite nice there... not too crowded like Patong beach and yet still surrounded by cafes restaurants and some shops. not too comercialized.. but everywhere we go we see mostly ang mohs.. there were very few asian tourists there..

we went back to the resort for a swim.. need to enjoy the pool as i purposely booked the pool access room...

Day 2 - 16 Aug 2009

When we arrived yesterday, we saw a huge buddha sitting on top of the mountain.. so today we rented a bike and wanted to go up the mountian to see the big Buddha.

we traveled for a while and it started raining.. so we had to stop by the side of the road to wait for the rain to stop..

Continued after the rain became a drizzle... the climb up the mountain was steep and slow..
so scary...

Finally we reached the top!

Along the way down the mountain we pass by some elephants so we decided to take some photos with them.. it costs us 100 baht

After seeing big Buddha we went tone of their shopping malls called Central Festival.. everything there is very expensive...

they had Maserati on display at the centre of the mall..
I think this is the only time i will get to sit in one...

With nothing to buy, we decided to go back to Kata beach and laze around there...

Day 3 - 17 Aug 2009

Finally we reached Patong beach!.. that is where everyone is!..

we only tanned a while and felt bored so we left.. the clouds were closing in..
we were driving in circles around Patong beach and did not know the way out of the maze!!

not bad.. quite nice and it was our cheapest meal there..

we stopped at Tesco along the way back to get some groceries and food stuff..

Day 4 - 18 Aug 2009

After 2 months of preparation.. the day finally came..

Surprisingly i was not nervous nor scared..

There were no butterflies in my tummy..

Unlike someone who was so gan jiong and forgot to bring his shirt and pants and something else to my place just before the ceremony... hehehe

Thanks to Da jie and her besterest, the place looked really nice..

Its my birthday today!.. and so fast its gonna be over soon... Took leave yesterday so today i am back at work =(
Had my celebration with the gang on sat.. baby decided the venue.. Soprano at Portsdown..

before we left home..

The place was quite pretty.. it was previously known as Cicada and they just re opened this week after some renovations.. Soprano serves Italian... I think the owners are Italian as well..
very friendly and nice people there.. we were very well taken care of...

Something incredible happened on Fri nite..

It was at Kenny's birthday chalet at downtown east..

The place is so different now as compared to when i last went there many many years ago.. almost 10 years i think

We had dinner at Fish and Co express..

Kenny rented chairs for mj..

DeToX DaY 3

Its the 3rd day of my detox..
I had difficulty getting out of bed today.. was very very tired and had no energy...

i have grown to detest the taste of the drink. I only drank less than 1 litre yesterday.. today is worse.. up till now.. i have only drunk 250ml.. feel a little light headed..
tink i am not consuming enough of the drink.. but i hate it!.. so i took some fruits during lunch hehe... for once apple tastes damn good!.. tink after this i will learn to appreciate food more... will try not to waste food hehe..

i am sharing this detox package with my colleague and something great just happened...
THERE IS NO MORE SYRUP!!! hahahahaha... yay so that means i have to stop the detox today..

My accomplishments:

- 3 whole days without food

- Managed to resist temptations and sit on the same table as other people eat

- LS for 8 times in total...
not alot cos today i was booking air ticket to Langkawi and it went back in hehehe..
my air ticket damn cheap!!! only $12 a person.. Woohooo! going to Langkawi in Jan
hahaha must wait very long...

although i dun tink the detox did much for me but it was a good experience and i doubt i will be doing this ever again!..it really is damn painful and needs lots of will power!

DeToX DaY 2

Today i woke up damn tired.. no energy.. prob cos i had no food for 24 hours already... dragged myself to work..

The more i drank the worse it tasted. Shit i could not even finish a litre today...

Some of my colleagues had salsd only to spur us on.. but some of them da bao chicken rice and i could smell it from my seat! hungry can..

day 2 is almost over.. i need to sleep early so i wont be hungry..
Oh ya and headache has been on for 2 days.. according to the book, its normal.

DeToX DaY 1

Today was the start of my detox diet.. so i am only gonna have lemon juice plus maple syrup and a little pepper.. its e Lemon Detox diet that many celebrities did.. sy did it 2 weeks ago and now its my turn.. i bought it from her colleague cos she changed her mind about not eating for a few days..

After my salt water flush in the morning... i went to the toilet 3 times.. first was totally solids, the other 2 were a mixture.. shiok haha..

The drink is not fantastic.. actually its not very nice.. but i will try to tahan!

Had dinner with Shuan mei mei and Adrian at Macs and i just sat there and watch them eat.. damn painful can!...

3 more days to go.. i hope i can tahan
