OuR NeW RiDe..

Shaun bought a new bike! the cc is smaller than his previous super4 but i tell him its an upgrade haha cos its more expensive and its new!!!

I helped to choose the color..
Oli's tail got into e picture hehe.. and if u look closely u can see ruffles in the corner

Its quite fuel economical as we travel so much over the weekend and the fuel needle hardly moved! maybe the pick up is not as fast as the old one but its a good ride... anyway cannot ride too fast until he reaches the 1000km mark as need to let it run in...

Since i had e camera with me i had to take some photos of the cutest things in the world!.. my dogs of cos..

Ruffles!

As you can see he is damn lazy and hardly moves.. he is still in the same position..
unless there is food nearby of cos haha...
He might look so cute and lovable but he is actually very disgusting haha.. yup i caught him waiting at Oli's backside waiting for him to shit so that he can eat his fresh shit! yup.. damn gross rite? but still he is so cute haha...

still there...

and of cos the black one Oli! Its very hard to get a proper shot of him cos he keeps running around.. he can hardly sit still unlike ruffles....

Oli poking his head into the door as he thought i had food for him.. haha gotcha!

EaT EaT EaT...

This whole week had been a gourmet week. My bosses not in town hence my colleagues and i have been running all over the place during lunch to search for good food. ok, maybe not all over Singapore but just slightly beyond my office vicinity as for this week we had the luxury of time.

Mon
Authentic Korean Food at Circular Road.
Food: Ginseng Chicken. bbq chicken, bbq pork and best of all some Kimchi steamboat.
Verdict: very authentic (even the ambience), and the steamboat is damn good
Damage: $17 a person

Tues
Ba Kut Teh at PSA building
Food: Ba Kut Teh of cos, salted vege, tau pok, tau gua.. others (the usual you have with BKT)
Verdict: very overpriced! a bowl of BKT was $6.50 which i thought was too much!.. the food is not too bad though
Damage: $12 a person

Wed
Forum Seafood at Boat Quay
Food: a cod fish (fried/steam) for everyone, a bowl of soup of your choice each, claypot tofu, lemon chicken, hotplate pork, vege, a drink each and fruits.
Verdict: Very tasty food (full of msg!!), very worth it for the amount we paid.
Damage: $10.50 a person

Thurs
Yan Palace at Hong Lim (I gave this a miss as i was meeting Jas for lunch)
Food: Dim sum
Verdict: dunno
Damage $21 a person (heng i did not go haha)

I had herbal soup with Jas and coffee. we talked and it was nice, reminded me of we were in e past.

Fri
Prawn noodle at Keong Siak Rd
Food: Prawn noodle, (it was a different kind of prawn noodle. not the usual kind you find at the food court, spicy soup with the fat beehoon), yong tau fu, vege and prawn paste chicken.
Verdict: food was not too bad but a bit expensive for zi char stuff
Damage: $14 a person

I feel like a food critic haha..

I spent $63.50 on lunch this week. not a huge amount but not something i can do every week, no time and FAT.. Think my boss might be wondering why all of us seem to have put on weight when he was only gone for week haha...That's the end of our honeymoon. back to serious work and no more freedom next week... the only consolation..
ITS A PUBLIC HOLIDAY ON MONDAY!!!!

I FoUnD a HuSbAnD FoR ThErEsA..

Yesterday on the bus home from work, There was this ang moh who got up e bus at the same stop as me and sat next to me at the last long row... i work at shenton way and hence there are many many pple who wan to rush home after work.. as usual the bus was very packed...

Beside the ang moh was the last seat on the bus.. so there was this lady who saw it and wanted to sit down.. however the guy in front of her discovered the seat as well and he sat down instead.. and guess wat?? the ang moh stood up and gave his seat to the lady!!.. okay maybe its nothing shocking but that was such a nice gesture..

and that's not the end yet.. after 1 stop he got a seat again so he sat down.. then came an old couple.. the ah gong let his wife sit and he had to stand and this very very gentleman ang moh stood up again and let the ah gong sit...2 times on the same journey.. that is really really sweet.. which makes me wonder why most Singaporeans are so oblivious to the needs of others...
There were s few young men on the bus sitting on the outside of the seat and highly capable of giving up their seats but they all choose to pretend that they did not see the old man.. so what if you had a bad day at work? it doesn't give you the excuse to make others' day as bad as yours.. doing something good will actually make you feel alot better..
i tink that is really really sad.. Singaporeans should learn to be more gracious and try to care for others.. I am not saying all Singaporeans are ungracious and ungentlemanly and I dun tink all ang mohs are gentlemanly.. but i think we can all learn to be nicer to others..

And Theresa.. remember you said you will marry the guy who gives up his seat for u? i tink i have found your husband..
