FoRmUlA 1 WeEkEnd..

Last week was a very busy week and exciting week.. the weekend started off with the first practice session of F1 on Friday.. our seats were at the Pit Grandstand somewhere behind the Singapore flyer.. as it was very very far, we started walking from the office at 5pm..
we stopped to take a photo at the gate we entered..

we walked from Fullerton across the bridge and down to esplanade.. all along the way there were entertainment programs going on... when we reached the stadium where our NDP is held, we realised there was no way to cut to our seats through there.. hence we decided to approach one of the many event marshalls.. he told us to walk back to the esplanade bridge to cross over to Marina square.. we have walked to far and now we have to turn back!!..
There were no proper signages along the way which i felt was bad planning on the organisers' side. also the marshalls were not properly trained as well.. the nimcompoot who told us to walk all the way back was wrong! when we finally go to the other side, we found out there was a bridge directly linking us across the road to Marina Sq! he made us walk a damn big round..

finally we reached the pit grandstand and it was almost 7.. we have walked for close to 2 hours

I tried taking so many pictures but they were just too fast!! only these 2 photos can see e cars as we were sitting at where the cars came out of the pit stops.. they would stop for a few seconds then speed off

It was quite empty on Fri as it was only the first practice..
but the whole place is really impressive!!

I left after the the first practice as it was Michelle's 21st birthday! we were going ktv.. yup she just became an adult..

K box had the whole room decorated with balloons happy birthday signs and party packs too! but there weren't enough for all of us...

Sunday i met Co, Lin dyann and Jas for Sunday Roast at Muddy Murphy's
the 2 course meal was only $20 nett!! and 3 course $25 nett.. very reasonable and i ate till i wanna puke.. e portions were quite big..

I am really quite bored with my life. I am still here and have not found my ideal job.. No calls and hence no hope at all.. i am depressed...
No i am not tinking of suicide, i just need to inject some excitement.. something for me to look forward to besides the weekend.. but since shaun works most weekends, there is nothing much to look forward to as well.. except for mj and of cos Sentosa.. heng i still have sy and munky to let me be a lightbulb ans hang out with them on weekends hehe.. ya i am a bloodly big lightbulb can.. cos no one ask me out..

Anyway back to something to look forward to.. I am going to Perth! yeah! Yes, it might be a boring place to many pple but i don't care i need a holiday! I will be going one day after sy and munky's wedding.. with them! haha.. of cos shaun is coming too or else i am really really damn buay pai seh la.. and this is not their honeymoon.. we are just going on a holiday together right after their wedding.. hmm.. sounds like their honeymoon but its not k.. We are going to rent a car and drive ard.. so exciting.. i really cannot wait..

Talking about their wedding, we jie meis need to decide on our dress design soon.. i was looking ard and shortlisted 3 designs.. The dress has a color theme of green and cream color..

Yesterday my company had a health screening exercise.. so those taking part had to collect samples of their urine and stool.. i had a very hard time collecting my stool.. but lets not go into details for that...

There was a lab technician who came to take samples of our blood for testing too.. so i was the first as i was the earliest in the office.. the usual procedure where she will tie an elastic band on my arm and feel around for a juicy vein.. she went on to jab me on my right arm.. she moved the needle around in my flesh looking for my vein.. i was just looking away and asking her stupid questions to get my mind off the needle in my flesh.. after more than half a min she still could not find the spot.. she removed the needle and told me to let her try my left arm..

Same procedure, tie, feel jab, feel and remove again!!.. i think she was very stressed so i asked her to draw my colleague's blood first while i tried to hit my vein out.. when he was done i went in again.. she checked both arms back and forth over and over again.. i think she was really very stressed.. i told her i was alright.. she was worried i will be traumatized but i think she was the one being traumatized.. she did not feel confident to jab me again and wanted to keep me for the last.. so i waited for her and continue to try to make my vein pop out..

I went in again after all my colleagues were done... again she keep feeling both my arms again and again and again.. she even knelt on the floor to try putting my arms in different angles.. she was making me nervous.. finally she stood up and she told me she gave up.. she will get someone else to come and try again..

QuArtEr oF a CeNtUrY + OnE

Was reading all my past entries and i realised there so many things has changed in these past few years...i have deleted some of the posts as i have decided to let the past be the past and move on..

I am 26 already.. moving on to late 20s! Argh! Now that i have crossed over to the other age range (u know when u fill in survey form the range is something like 16-25, 26-35), i should start to look back and re think seriously about my life....... haha eh but there's really nothing much to tink about.. I tink 26 will be a good one..

And the celebrations started...

Dinner at fish and co bugis with baby, sy, munky, michelle, kenny, jimmy, adeline.. not a very pleasant dinner though.. they forgot our seafood platter for 2..

After asking the waiters for countless times no one actually checked that our orders were not passed to the kitchen... Of cos everyone was damn pissed (except me haha cos its my birthday!).. we complained to the supervisor and she promised us it will be on our table within 8 mins.. so we timed her... after 8 mins, we asked her over to cancel the order.. at least she was nice and gave it to us free but we insisted we did not want it and asked for the bill.. but she still packed it for us.. well so we had a seafood platter for free!! haha..

Next we crossed the road to Top One KTV.. according to Michelle this ktv is different from the rest as it has special lights (Like disco lights) which we can change according to the music and can produce smoke!!.. eh but once is enough to suffocate u la.. of cos with the additional effects, the place is pricer than kbox and party world

Met my uni frens for dinner Jenny, Theresa, Cheryl, Lindy and Kris.. So sad Sindy not around this year..
as usual spent the morning at Sentosa, took a nap before meeting them.. see my tan lines.. so ugly but i dun care haha... had dinner at MOF at marina.. We saw the fire works for NDP rehersals! pretty but unnecessary.. i saw it 2 weeks in a row.. tink it is happening every sat's rehersals...

A StAy At HoMe SaT...

I am so bored.. at home on a sat.. its been a long time since i stayed at home on a weekend.. anyway need to save money so its not such a bad thing.. lost mj last nite.. it is the first time in my mj playing history that i had no chipps left in my drawer.. really wasn't my day man.. i highly suspect it was cos of the cockroach that walked across my head while i was sleeping on thurs nite..damn disgusting.. gotta do something about my pest infested home..

Last week was Corine and Jiexiang's wedding.. finally they got married!

Its like the wedding season.. so many pple are getting married this year.. many pple are asking me when is it my turn? so when is it really my turn? i am not very sure myself too... was talking to sy last nite and she actually pointed out something i did not wan to think about.. She might be right or wrong.. but i am scared to think about it.. Is being happy not enough?
